DIVEMASTER INTERNSHIP

You like scuba diving and you want to become a true professional ?

​

Join the Scubakreta team and get your Divemaster for free, gaining first hand experience in a real diving center environment, take your first professional steps safely under the direct supervision of our instructors.

​

As part of our team, you will follow our instructors, attend dives to become an excellent guide and model for other divers.

​

The best way to get your Divemaster: you will work and gain experience in real conditions, always having Scubakreta as your safety net.

​

Prerequisites:

​

  • Certification of Open Water Diver & 25 recorded dives.

  • You will be with us for 4 months minimum, depending on your level

  • Have you never dive before or are you certified Open Water ? No problem : Contact us for more information.

​

We offer you:

​

  • All online learning theory and certifications up to the Divemaster.

  • Basic Accommodation

  • Lunch

  • One day off per week (Sunday)

  • Free diving equipment rental during your stay

SSI Divemaster : A leader in professional diving
​

Divemasters are the professional guides of the underwater world!

They introduce certified divers to new dive sites, taking care of procedures and adding a safety net, helping divers relax and enjoy their time underwater.

They help instructors teach diving courses and may have leadership responsibilities in multiple programs.

​

Prerequisites to register for the course :

​

  • Be at least 18 years old

​

What can you do once you are a certified SSI Divemaster ?

​

  • Supervise certified divers.

  • Conduct briefings, revisions of diving techniques and safety procedures

  • Be an assistant during training programs, as well as all SSI courses.

  • Direct refresher programs, some speciality courses, snorkelling etc.

​

What must be done to obtain this qualification ?

​

  • Complete of knowledge development.

  • Pass the Divemaster Final Exam.

  • Successful evaluation of diving techniques, workshops, and practical assessments.
