These dives are for training, as well as for experienced divers who are looking for a relaxed dive

St. George Cave

At the end of Aldemar Knossos Royal Hotel, one of north Crete’s most beautiful scuba diving spots. We are extraordinary lucky to have the diving spot right next to the diving center which allow us to enter the water immediately from the shore.

The underwater wall below the church of St. George is the home of two awesome natural caves and a long wall starting to a depth of 8 meters till 15m.

 

Here we can reach the depth of 25 m surrounded from deep blue color and surrounded with a local flora and fauna that includes groupers, octopus, moray eels together with big anemones and different sea flowers.

Required certification : Open Water - Advanced Open Water (For the Deep part of the dive - Below 18 meters)

Aldemar Royal House Reef

Right in front of Aldemar Knossos Royal Hotel and Annabelle Hotel, the Aldemar Royal House reef offers to best conditions  for an introduction to Scuba Diving. Every fish that you can possibly encounter by scuba diving in the area can be spotted at this spot. The luckiest from you might even meet our beloved turtle. Shallow depths and great conditions for a perfect introduction to Scuba Diving or for a nice refreshing dive.

Octopus Garden

A splendid dive in a typical Mediterranean environment.

In addition, we are lucky to have three beautiful turtles living in the area. Perhaps you will cross their path. Ideal for beginner classes and refreshing dives.

 

Depth between 8 and 14 meters.

The Princess Reef

Ideal for beginner classes and refreshing dives. Depths ranging from 2 to 14 m dive directly to the front of the dive center. Many small fish that are turning around are waiting for divers to explore.

 

Small octopuses have their homes here and the water is clear and blue most of the time. Ideal place to start a pleasant visit in the underwater world of the Mediterranean.

Our daily Boat Dives

These dives take place everyday except Sunday.

 

The exact location is decided on the day depending the weather conditions.

Deep St. George

12 minutes drive with the boat.

Kori Reef

10 minutes drive with the boat, beautiful colorful dive in depths between 10 and 13 m. The sand and outcropping rocky wall create a nice combination full of light and colors.

 
A dive for people who want to enjoy a long and pleasant dive.

Golden Reef

10 minutes drive with the boat : The wall of Golden Reef.

 

2 complete differents path possible for this dive full of micro underwater life. Pay attention to your surrounding there, you may have some surprising encounters.

The lucky ones may meet the turtle living in the area!

The Old Port

10 minutes drive with the boat.

Long time ago, this place use to be one of the most important port of the island.

Some traces of very old activities are still here today.

Join this beautiful dive to uncover the secrets of the place.

 

Different paths possible for this dive.

A very good combination of diving and history with depths around 10 and 12 meters.

Grouper's Fields

A beautiful dive in a typically Mediterranean deep landscape. Despite its appearance of a flat reef, there is many smalls holes hiding surprises. The luckiest may encounters huge groupers living in the area.

Generally clear waters with visibility up to 20 m. Maximum diving depth of between 18 to 20 meters.

Required certification : Advanced Open Water

These dives are scheduled upon request.

All the diving sites are for experienced divers with an Advanced Open Water Certification.

 

They are also very depending on the weather conditions.

Special Boat Dive

Beautiful wreck diving on a Messerchmidt 109-D WWII Fighter Airplane. Laying upside down, the fuselage is very well maintained with the whole body, the machine gun, and bullet impacts are still visible.

The tail of the plane is missing, but everything else is very impressive. Around the plane you might encounter two big groupers.

 

A dive 25m deep in a big blue with reference line for experienced divers.

Required certification : Advanced Open Water

Requirement of at least 30 logged dives

Additional charge: +10€ on the normal dive price and on dive packages

The following dives are scheduled upon request and depending weather conditions.

They are located in the Paksimadi Island - about 11 miles from the Cretan coast.

It is an "all day" trip with 2 Tank Dives for very experienced divers.

The Aegean Window

Special Boat Dive - Paksimadi Island (All day trip)

Very deep dive for experienced divers with a visibility over 50m all year around. We hang on a wall where the bottom starts at 46 m. (We dont reach this depth) and take a look at the deep Aegean blue like from a window at depths between 30 and 40m.


A magic dive with high possibility to see some very big tuna fish approaching sometimes to 3m the divers. This very impressive dive together with the shrimps cave is very famous among the experienced divers.

The Wreck

Special Boat Dive - Paksimadi Island (All day trip)

Crystal clear waters with a visibility of 30 to 40 m and a magnificent shipwreck are the characteristics of this magnificent dive.

 

Boat trip about 40 minutes to a beautiful unusual island with fantastic clear waters. Depths up to 37 m, an advanced open water diver is the minimum level required to participate in this dive.

The Shrimps Cave

Special Boat Dive - Paksimadi Island (All day trip)

Extremely beautiful dive starting at 24 m where a very beautiful cave is the house of thousand shrimps. The surrounding is very blue with very deep water we hang on a wall at depth between 25 and 40m.  The rock is very beautiful, wild, and rich in any kind of vegetation.  With a little good luck very big tuna fish to be seen.
